Reception 2026 Admissions 

From September 2025, all of the children in Reception will attend the Hawkshead Road site.  If you would like to apply for your child to join our Reception Cohort in September 2026, please click on the link below.

Casual In-Year Admissions

Parents/guardians wishing to apply for a school place at Leopold should contact Brent Council school admissions service. The council will review your application and inform you of the outcome.

You will need to make an in-year school application if either of the following apply to you:

• Your child lives in Brent and does not currently have a school place
• You wish to apply for a transfer to a school in Brent
• You should only apply for a school place in a Brent school.  For schools outside Brent please contact the Local Authority or the school directly for the application process.

Nursery Admissions

Leopold Primary School is delighted to offer Nursery places at our Hawkshead Road site. Please note that there is no Nursery provision at the Gwenneth Rickus building.

Our Nursery is currently full, but we are now welcoming applications for September 2026, where spaces are available. We encourage families to apply early to secure a place.

We admit up to 30 children each year, offering both full-time and part-time places. Please see the timings and options for September 2026 below.

For families applying for a full-time place, we kindly ask that you provide your 30-hour childcare code (if eligible) before your child starts.

If you are not eligible for the 30 hours of free childcare, a weekly top-up fee of £75 applies. This is payable via the Parent Pay app.
