Health, Care & Wellbeing
At Leopold Primary School, we believe that every child has the right to feel safe, healthy, cared for and included.
We recognise that children's physical health, emotional wellbeing and individual care needs are fundamental to their happiness, development and success at school.
Some children may require additional support because of a medical condition, allergy, disability, personal care need, temporary injury or emotional wellbeing concern.
Our approach is rooted in nurture, equity and inclusion. We work closely with children, families and healthcare professionals to ensure that individual needs are understood, appropriate arrangements are made and barriers to participation are removed.
Working in Partnership with Families
Parents and carers know their children best. We value open communication and believe that working together is essential to ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing.
We ask families to inform the school about any medical conditions, allergies, medication, care requirements or changes in circumstances that may affect their child.
Where additional support is needed, we work with families, children and relevant professionals to agree appropriate arrangements, including individual plans where necessary.
If you have concerns about your child's health, care or emotional wellbeing, please contact the school office or speak to a member of our Inclusion or Safeguarding Team.
Our commitment is simple: every child is known, every need matters and every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
